Putting Funds to Good Use: RAYI $4000 Microgrant

In March, Human Nature Projects (HNP) Executive Directors Muhammad Ansar, Srija Das, and Shouvik Bhadra attended the RAcialized Youth Innovation (RAYI) Micro-grants Celebration and Awards Ceremony hosted by the Canadian Centre for Community Advancement where they represented Human Nature Projects Canada. There, HNP Canada was announced as one of the 15 not-for-profit community organizations to receive the RAYI $4000 micro-grant, currently administered by the Canada Service Corps.

HNP Canada put the grant to good use since receiving the money in January, as the funds played a vital role in the successful execution of Seeds For Change: An Intersectional Sustainability Summit. This summit brought together young leaders and change-makers to explore the interconnectedness of various environmental issues. With the support from the RAYI grant, HNP Canada was able to organize an impactful event that included workshops, discussions, brilliant panelists, and networking opportunities, providing a platform for youth to engage in meaningful conversations and develop actionable solutions for a more sustainable and equitable future

Great job team for hosting such a successful event, and to the the 14 amazing organizations to receive the grant. Finally, thank you workshop speakers, attendees, volunteers, non-profit panelists for caring about the significance of our project!
