Human Nature Projects is Rooted in Impact

HNP Canada is thrilled to announce that late last year, we participated in ImpactRoots, a five-week non-profit development program, organized by the Trustee Hub that empowered community organizations across Toronto to enhance organizational sustainability and programming. Through our participation in this program, we learned more about charitable status, non-profit governance, strategic planning, and resource development.

On December 5th, the program ended with a vibrant graduation ceremony that brought together 13 incredible non-profit organizations from across Toronto. The graduation featured insightful talks by Rachel Wang and Gregory McFarlene who shared valuable perspectives on fostering community collaboration and impact.

A huge thank you to Melissa Nyamushanya, B.A. and Tyreek Phillips from the Trustee Hub for organizing such an incredible program. As well, thank you to Benjamin Miller from the Ontario Nonprofit Network for leading the weekly workshops and to the fellow program participants for such an incredible experience. Lastly, thank you to our co-executive director, Muhammad Ansar, for representing us at this program.

Here's to building stronger, more resilient communities together!
